Then I saw Wicked with J and my family on Friday and it was un-freakin-believable! Just having the soundtrack is one thing but actually being there and watching the show? I LOVED IT! What I didn't like was the gift shop charging $6 for a keychain, $13 for a coffee mug, and $35 for a t-shirt. Needless to say, I didn't buy anything. That would have been crazy. But I would definitely go and see it again if I had the opportunity. I can't say too much about it in case you want to see it but just take my word for it. It's great.
Then we went to visit my friend that I met in college and her family. She has two dogs, two beautiful girls, and a baby on the way. She is awesome! She does Zumba (very off topic comment but I think it's cool). Initially we were just going to stay there for the day and leave after dinner, but she and her husband (he's from England...waaaaayyyy cool accent) persuaded us with Guitar Hero, Hulk, and kettle popcorn. And then we were going to leave after the movie, then they persuaded us with waffles in the morning.....waffles. Yea we didn't end up leaving until the next day lol. But the best part is their girls LOVED my digital camera. I don't know what it is about kids and cameras. So instead of erasing all of the pictures that they randomly took, I kept them and put them online.
All the pictures from this weekend can be found in the album below. Enjoy! And I hope your New Year is going as good as mine!
