Playing For Change

J found an amazing website the other day. These are just two episodes on the website. Music always stirs something within me. They are using donations to build music schools throughout the world. This is a cause I would really like to give to. Enjoy the music, visit the website to see the rest of the episodes, and donate if you like.

Gathering the Magic

I was sitting at work eating granola yogurt (because that is so unimportant to this anecdote that I thought I would include it) and I was listening to my Major Spoilers podcast (it's about comic books, yes, yes, I'm a nerd) and they were talking about Magic the Gathering. This is a game that I used to know nothing about, but I've come to learn more about it through my past. I played a couple of times but I think I liked the art on the cards and organizing them more than playing. The podcast was pretty interesting and made me remember a lot of good memories about Magic. (Can you believe I actually went to a state tournament? Well not me participating but I was there!) I think I still have a bunch of cards around.

Observation: Cracker Barrel

I went to have brunch at Cracker Barrel this morning (was amazing as usual). And while we ate, I observed an older gentleman beside us eating a bowl of chili. With HUGE pieces of onion (and I mean huge). About 20 of them. On top of the chili. I hope I didn't stare too much. I feel sorry for the woman that was with him.

HAPPY UNDEAD ZOMBIE JEBUS DAY!

This is the day when Undead Zombie Jesus shuffled out of his tomb and started wandering the countryside hiding colorful eggs to lure small children out so he could eat their brains!

Anthony....sing to me again

J surprised me with Anthony Hamilton's newest album. (Thanks babe!) And for all of you people that love true R&B, you have to get this album. He has smooth sounds and ballads that speak to my very soul.

I don't know what else I can say but to get it. You won't regret it.

A haiku about Afro Samurai (something so bloody, yet so beautiful)

Whoever knew that Afro was so poetic?

So much blood spraying

Hair flowing free in the wind

Revenge is the key

Foreshadowing...

Foreshadowing and soap operas go together like peanut butter and jelly.

That is all.

Planning....

Things I'm planning that I love to plan...

1. J's Birthday (so what if it's not until June. I have big plans!)
2. My wedding (I created gift registries and decided on food for the rehearsal dinner)
3. Moving (is it weird that I'm looking forward to boxing up my life?)

Osculations...I Love to Perform Them

I have another word that I love. I had never heard of it before but I love it!!! Osculation....either performing osculation or giving an osculation. Definition is below! Use it and do it often!

osculation \os-kyuh-LAY-shuhn\, noun:

The act of kissing; also: a kiss.

He had engaged in nervous osculation with all three of Lord Flamborough's daughters.
-- Thomas Sutcliffe, "The art of seduction, the skill of the tackle", Independent, June 13, 1994

Their incessant onstage osculations during her last concert tour seemed to offer public proof of their passion.
-- "The Big Boom in Breakups", People, November 13, 1995

Osculation comes from osculatio, "a kissing," from osculari, "to kiss," from osculum, "a little mouth, a kiss," diminutive of os, "mouth."
