Things I've learned from my first 48 hours with our new dog

1. I worry about him way more than I thought I would.
2. I'm a big softie.
3. Dogs really do chase their tails.
4. Adult dogs are way easier than puppies.
5. Training takes a long time.
6. Getting a rescue feels really really good.
7. Big brown eyes are hard to say no to.
8. Picking up dog p00p isn't as bad as I thought it was.
9. Consistency is the key.
10. If this is even a glimpse of what having a kid is like, we're in for a wild ride.
