Zombies (will help me rule the world)!

When the zombies come, I will first sing them the song "Re: Your Brains" by Jonathan Coulton. I think they would like that and would make them feel at home.

I would then let them know that I listened to Extra Life Radio's with Scott Johnson's Zombie Special Podcast "Mah Zipper is Broke" to let them know I was interested in their culture.

Then once I am friends with them, I will send them to people I don't like..reminding them of the tastiness of human flesh, all the while convincing them that I taste rancid and they don't want me.

Then, with my zombie army, everybody will either love me or get eaten. How's that for a masterful plan?

I Don't Want...but I Do Want

http://bensbiz.mlblogs.com/archives/2009/03/166666667_pounds.html

I look at this...and then I say mmmmm and then I think....ewwwww...and then I think...well...no...mmmmm. In the end, I suppose I'm not sure.

First Kiss Memories

Locked out (thankfully)

I was 13. He was the same age. We had been in a summer science enrichment program at Louisville Male High School and we had been flirting (or the preteen equivalent) all week long. On the last day of the program, we were walking and talking and he pulled me into the back stairwell and kissed me lightly on the lips. My stomach flipped. Then we went out the back door and promptly got locked out of the building. We had to walk the whole way around. I was secretly glad that we were locked out.

What was your first kiss?

Becky the HMC

Becky the HMC (that's house management coordinator for all you that don't know) is cooler than the other side of the pillow. She works at the Kentucky Center and helped J and I realize what we wanted for the wedding as far as chair and table placement, food and music placement. Making all those decisions makes me happy. It makes the day seem that much more real (as if that could happen.) Becky the HMC is somebody I'll get close to for the next couple of months methinks.

Guilty Pleasures

From Wikipedia:

A guilty pleasure is known as something one considers pleasurable despite feeling guilt for enjoying it.[1] Often, the "guilt" involved is simply fear of others discovering one's lowbrow or otherwise embarrassing tastes, rather than actual moral guilt. Fashion, music,[2] and food can be examples of guilty pleasures.[3]

I have found myself having guilty pleasures. I think one of those that I feel guiltiest about is reality shows. I love reality shows and I have no idea. Making the Band, America's Next Top Model, So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol, Run's House, Daddy's Girls, Make Me A Super Model, Father Hood, It's Me Or The Dog, Animal Cops (three different types). There could be a billion more but I limit myself (if you can believe that this is limiting myself). I have no idea why I like them so much. Half the time it's to say, these people are crazy. But then again half the stuff is soooooo stupid but yet I allow myself to get lost in them. What about you? What is your guilty pleasure?

Too Cool for School

I had a fever of 101.2 the other day which is pretty bad for me. My normal body temperature is 97.6 which is a full degree lower than normal. J told me that I'm too cool for a body temp of 98.6. I love him.

30 Years of Me....Can You Take It?

So today is my 30th birthday. I can't believe it really. I mean...I'm not sure how 30 is supposed to feel like but I don't think I feel like it. No gray hairs yet, bones not creaking more than normal, not more tired in the morning. When people say that you are only as old as you feel, I hope that's true. Because I feel in my twenties and thanks to my mom and dad, I look like it too.

My 30 years have had so many ups and downs. It's been hard and easy. Good and bad. But now, it's been all good for the past year or so. 30 years old...I don't know what else to say. I suppose it speaks for itself.

But I was happy to celebrate with my family. I went to see Madea Goes To Jail and then we had dinner at B.D.'s Mongolian Grill. Always something good. LOVE that stuff. Well here I am...Dirty Thirty. Hope to be around for a lot more. Life, you better bring it, cuz I'm ready.
